Time smiled on us during our visit me and my son. And on this journey once I entered the ́intérieure. There was no doubt time does not ́ exist as being slowed down. A wonder of the world. ❤️. Ps. Mes excuses d'avence au fautes d' hortographe.
I was unsure whether it was an official ticket partner, as there were no more tickets bookable for that day on the official Mont Saint Michel website. All the other visitors were talking about QR codes, I only had a barcode... I was just unsure whether I had done it right. In the end, I got to Mont Saint Michel Abbey without any problems. It was impressive to be able to see this place. It was worth it, thank you very much!
The Abby at Mont Saint Michel was beautiful! It was worth seeing, and buying our tickets was easy. There is a warning about fake tickets on the official site, so I was nervous about booking through this one, but everything was authentic and accepted. When it is not busy, you can also buy tickets right at the Abby.
The architecture, the history behind it and the natural feel
Mont Saint Michel is lovely place. It is amazing.
I was amazed by the architecture. Every single stone tells a 1000-year-old story.
Mount St Michel was stunning especially as you walk towards it on the causeway. Very busy at the entrance but once in the abbey you can explore at your own pace.
Arriving early and having made the first available reservation we hardly had to wait in line and could visit the superb abbey without too much crowding, impeccable shuttle service
Simple reservation. Upon arrival at the barrier, the license plate of the car is directly recognized and the pre-prepared parking ticket is handed over. Even at the exit, everything is automatic: you approach the barrier and once the license plate is recognized, the barrier opens. Everything is perfect.
Great idea with the tickets that we had bought in good time. We were able to get past the long queue and keep to our time slot.
It's a place that exudes a unique atmosphere of mystery, spirituality and natural beauty. In short, Mont-Saint-Michel and its abbey are a must-see. It's a journey through time, a moment suspended between sky, sea and stone.
The booking went very well, everything worked out perfectly and a visit to the abbey is highly recommended. However, the crowds of people are so bad! So make sure you book in advance and get there very early in the morning to visit the island.
No issue with Headout. The venue is badly run. No staff to help or guide you and no signs with instruction Not enough shuttle buses with huge queues The venue is over crowded . The parking prices are extortionate
Having pre-paid tickets made the entry quick and easy, and allowed us to have a full tour of the abbey! No need to wait in a line for tickets and we were able to go through the full abbey. A truly amazing experience
Thanks to the visual support provided by the tablet, the explanation, already very clear, is even more complete. Very easy booking and almost immediate confirmation response. Definitely recommend.
As soon as you head off to the abbey by foot from the parking, you see more and more of the astonishing details. We arrived around 4 pm with my partner and toddler (2yo), who we brought with the stroller. In the beginning, the entrance was a bit overwhelming because it was very busy, but as we got close to the abbey the crowd had spread out and it became more pleasant. The visit itself was quite impressive, you can't stop to wonder how this was all created. The only 'downside' was that there were no signs with information, so if you don't take the audio guide / tablet, you only get to admire the architectural beauty, but you don't really leave smarter than you arrived. The weather was partly sunny, partly clouded, which gave us the benefit of seeing it in different shades and lights.
The audio guide is user-friendly, easy to use and offers clear explanations. Explanations about the abbey are missing.
Very disappointed about the lack of information available without paying for tablet hire. Expected to see information boards in each area describing the history and story behind each room and area. There was next to nothing....
Good information- but since I bought tickets to The Abbey via TouringBee I had expected this to be included in the audioguide
Relaxed booking the day before, left a relatively large queue and the booked time was of no interest to anyone!
Kont Saint michel in general was a great experience, definitly worth the walk. The castle which you can acces with the tickets could do with some decoration, maybe showing how each room used to be? The tablet/ audio guide had an AR-experience, which did show a virtual world as it was back then. Parking at mont saint michel was about €25,- I would say this unique experience is definitly worth it, however the castle itself could do with some improvements interrior-wise.
I loved the the experience being in this magnificent preserved middle aged city, abbey and chapel. Ik loved the building construction and the story of development the plans, the patience and the longterm thinking aiming the target. I am curious about the 8-8-8 lifestyle of the monks. Some lessons I will take home to slow down life and live more mindful with small targets.
Great experience, parking was well arranged. Yes, its not cheap but what is cheap nowadays? Mont Saint Michel is a must see, especially the Abbey
We didn't wait in line We took the audio guide separately and it was beautiful because there was a tablet showing what the abbey looked like at the time
There were two place no tickets with for the day we were there, but at hangout still there and for the normal price! Top attraction.

The abbey is super impressive but prepare for big crowds in July. Our guide was easy to understand and had lots of cool stories. The stairs are tough, but you get used to them. Wish the group was smaller, but still a great experience.
It’s a beautiful place but way too crowded for me. Guide was nice but hard to hear with so many people. Would try again in a quieter season.
Went with my wife and two teens—everyone had a blast, which NEVER happens. Guide was funny and made even the boring bits interesting. The way the light comes through the windows is GORGEOUS. Bring snacks for after, because you’ll be hungry after all those stairs.
Visited with my brother and honestly, the whole tour was waaaay better than I thought. Our guide (can't remember her name, sorry!) was funny and had stories about monks that were kinda wild? She made the history sound super fresh. Some stairs are a killer tho. Wear comfy shoes. Worth it for the views at the top!
Went solo but ended up chatting with people in my group. The guide made everyone feel included, and the history is actually wild. Loved the hidden corners of the abbey. Would recommend, just don’t forget your camera.
Visited solo, didn’t feel awkward at all. The group was friendly, and the guide remembered everyone’s name (how??). Loved hearing the legends about the monks and the secret passages, plus the acoustics in the big hall were wild, you could hear a pin drop. Bit of a wait to get started, but not too bad. Bring water, it gets stuffy up top.
It’s a cool place but too many people. Guide did their best but hard to enjoy with the crowds. Would try again off-season.
Cool experience, but it felt a bit rushed. The guide was nice, and the stories were interesting, just wish we’d had a bit longer to look around. The stairs are NO JOKE.
The abbey itself is just magical. Our guide knew all the hidden corners and kept us laughing. There are quiet places to sit if you get tired. Glad we did the morning slot—less crowded, more chill.
Epic experience! The abbey is even more impressive in person. Guide was funny and had great stories. Pro tip: go early to skip the crowds.
Honestly, this tour was way more interesting than I expected. I dragged my teens along (not totally willingly lol) but they actually got into it once the guide started talking about the crazy history and the monks. The view from the top of the abbey is just EPIC. Bit of a hike up all those stairs, so wear good shoes, but totally worth it for the photos. Our guide, I think his name was Henri, made everyone laugh and didn’t mind if we asked a million questions. Only downside—couldn’t take pics inside some of the rooms, which my daughter was kinda bummed about. Otherwise, A+ morning.
Fun tour, but a bit too short for me. The guide kept things light and interesting. Could have spent hours just looking at the stained glass windows. The stairs are killer though!
Went with a group of friends—laughed so much during the tour. The guide had us act out a medieval scene (embarrassing but hilarious). Learned loads! Would recommend for groups.
Abbey is a must. Guide was funny and had great stories. The view from the terrace is INSANE. Crowds were manageable in the morning.
So, it was packed. Like, elbows everywhere packed. But our tour guide kept us together and actually made it feel kinda cozy? Learned a lot about tides I never knew. Would go again but maybe on a weekday next time, weekends are just toooo crowded.
Took my kids, ages 10 and 13, and they actually paid attention the whole time (miracle). The guide was super patient and made it fun. Loved the hidden garden and the views outside.
Interesting tour, learned a ton about the abbey and the tides. Guide was patient. Lots of stairs but worth it for the view.
I’m a total history geek so this tour was PERFECT. The guide had so many little details about the monks and the construction, and we even saw a hidden staircase not on the usual route. The group was small, which helped. Bit chilly inside, so bring a light sweater even if it’s warm outside.
Took the afternoon tour. The sunlight in the abbey was GORGEOUS. Guide was patient and let everyone take pics. Would recommend.
Group was big but the guide handled it well. Some rooms were too crowded but the vibe was still nice. History is fascinating.
The tour guide totally knew her stuff and made even the kids pay attention, which is a miracle. Some of the rooms are FREEZING, so bring a jacket even if it’s hot outside. Def worth the climb.
Guide was nice but the group was too big. Hard to hear sometimes. The abbey is beautiful though, and the views are amazing.
Took my parents who are in their 70s and worried about all the stairs, but our guide was SO patient and made sure everyone was comfortable. Even gave us a few extra stops to catch our breath. The stories about the island’s history were fascinating—didn’t expect to learn so much. If you’re into photography, the exterior shots at sunset are amazing but they don’t let you shoot inside the chapel. Can see why this place is famous!
If you like history, you’ll love this. Guide was engaging and cracked jokes the whole way. The abbey itself is just WOW. Only wish we could’ve taken pics inside the crypt.
Took the tour with my boyfriend, didn’t expect to laugh so much! The guide had a joke for every stop. Weather was perfect. Only downside—no food allowed inside so eat before.

Unfortunately, we were ill on vacation, so you should know that we did not take part. So they couldn't judge how the experience was. Our phone call with the support on Tuesday morning was very nice, the negative email regarding at least a partial cancellation was very negative. best regards Michael Komenda
Visited with my boyfriend and we loved it! The abbey is stunning. Go early for less crowds. We got a pastry and just sat watching the tide come in. Magical.
Went solo and felt totally safe the whole time. Met a few other travelers on the shuttle over. The climb up is no joke but the payoff is insane—the view is UNREAL. Didn’t really eat at the restaurants, just grabbed a pastry. The abbey itself is so peaceful even with crowds.
Went last Sunday with my sister and wow, Mont Saint Michel is just—magical??? The walk from the shuttle is longer than you think, so wear decent shoes. Weather was gray but honestly made the abbey look even more EPIC. We spent like half the time gawking at the views. Only bummer—sooo many people, felt like we were in a parade at times. Still, totally worth it!
What a place! The walk from the shuttle is longer than you think but it’s worth it. We stayed for sunset and the photos turned out EPIC. Would go again.
Mont Saint Michel is GORGEOUS. My partner and I went for our anniversary and it was suuuper romantic. The crowds didn’t bother us. Bring a jacket, it gets breezy up top. We skipped the fancy restaurants and just grabbed a crepe—yum.
Mont Saint Michel is just magical! Went with my bff and we couldn’t stop taking pics. Crowds were crazy but didn’t ruin our day.
Honestly, this was the HIGHLIGHT of our France vacation. Our guide Lucie was a legend—she told us ghost stories and pointed out weird little details I never would’ve noticed. The abbey is stunning, and I loved getting lost in the tiny alleyways. Only bummer: way too many souvenir shops selling the same stuff, lol.
So glad I finally made it here! I was traveling solo but didn’t feel lonely at all. The abbey is gorgeous, especially in the morning light. If you can, go early and bring a snack for the shuttle ride. Loved every second.
I’d been dreaming of visiting since I was a kid and it did not disappoint. The place feels otherworldly. Guide was friendly and cracked jokes the whole time. There’s a LOT of people but you find quiet spots if you look for them. Best part: sunset from the top. Unreal!
Went with my two best friends. The road trip was half the fun, honestly. Once there, we just took our time and explored every nook. The abbey tour was fascinating. Pro tip: bring a water bottle, there’s not many spots to fill up inside.
The bus ride is loooong so bring a book or something. But once you arrive, it’s like a fairy tale. Loved the tiny streets and the view from the ramparts. We got rained on a bit, but it kind of added to the mood. Only downside: stairs, stairs, more stairs.
Had the best time! The views are out of this world and the abbey is huuuge. Went early and avoided most of the crowds. The crepes outside are pretty good too.
Best day trip we did from Paris, hands down. Went with my partner, and we loved wandering the tiny streets. The views from the abbey are out of this world. It was busy but never felt overwhelming. Would go again in a heartbeat!
We had a blast! It’s like stepping into a storybook or something. I went with my teen, he was ‘meh’ about the trip at first, but even he was impressed—took like 300 pics. The abbey is jaw-dropping and the little streets are so cute. Crowds were wild, but that didn’t ruin it. Def worth the early wakeup.
Unforgettable day. The abbey is breathtaking, and the whole place feels magical. Go early for less crowds. Would 100% recommend.
Epic views, great guide, and the abbey is just… wow. If you get the chance, stay late for sunset—it’s unreal. We grabbed cider from a little shop and just watched the tide. Magical.
Was expecting more after all the hype. Yeah, the island looks cool but the crowds and queues were just too much for me. We barely had time to grab a sandwich before it was time to get back on the shuttle. I’d still say go, just maybe not in peak season??
Absolutely stunning. Came with my best friend and we took a million photos. The abbey is the highlight, but the walk up is just as beautiful. Go early to beat the crowds.
Took my parents for a day trip and they loved it. The shuttle is easy to use. The abbey is just stunning and the views go on forever. We got there right when it opened and were able to enjoy it before the crowds hit. 100% recommend going early.
Mont Saint Michel is a dream. We went at sunset and the light was insane. Tons of people but still felt special. Worth every step.
Loved every minute! We lucked out with no rain and a clear sky. It’s a bit of a climb but the views are worth it. Staff at the abbey were friendly and let us know about a free exhibit going on. Such a cool place to explore.
Took my mom for her birthday and she was thrilled. The abbey is just wow, and the staff at the entrance were suuuper patient with our questions. We got lucky with sunny weather. FYI, wear layers – it gets chilly up top. We spent nearly the whole day just exploring and taking photos.
Mont Saint Michel is like nothing else. Went with my girlfriend, and we spent hours exploring. The abbey is mind-blowing. There are so many tiny details everywhere. Just bring comfy shoes—so many stairs.
This place is incredible. The climb is tough but the view at the top is wild. Take your time and enjoy getting lost in the streets.

Incredible visit. The sunset was magical, and the abbey is just breathtaking. Staff were welcoming and gave us great tips.
Went with friends, had sooo much fun. The abbey is beautiful and the stories from our guide made it even better. Would recommend!
Mont Saint-Michel is just unreal. Went with my partner and we both loved it. The sunset was magical. Staff were all smiles, even after a long day.
Best day trip ever! The abbey is GORGEOUS and the staff are so helpful. We got there early and beat the crowds. Can't wait to come back.
Incredible experience! The sunset view is unforgettable. The abbey feels straight out of a fantasy novel. Wear comfy shoes, so many stairs.
Mont Saint-Michel at sunrise is STUNNING. Hardly any people, and the air feels different. The abbey is peaceful in the morning. Highly recommend an early visit.
Took my dad for Father's Day—he loved it. The history is insane and the views are even better. Abbey staff were super knowledgeable. Pro tip: get there early.
I can't believe how breathtaking this place is. Went for sunrise and had the ramparts almost to myself. The abbey is peaceful early, and the staff are so kind.
Went with my parents and little brother. The abbey is GORGEOUS and the views are out of this world. Lots of steps, so pace yourself! Guide was super friendly.
Went with friends. The abbey tour was interesting, not too long. If you like photography, go early for the best light and less people in the shots. Bit windy up top, hold onto your hat! Snacks are expensive but worth it after the climb.
Best day of our trip to France! We did a self-guided walk, skipped the group tour, and just wandered at our own pace. Saw some artists painting in a hidden corner, super cool. It does get crowded but if you hang back after the main tour groups leave, it gets way quieter.
Magical place, especially at sunset. We watched the tide come in and it was wild how fast the water moves! Loved the little shops. Take cash for souvenirs.
Went with my mom for her birthday—she's a sucker for old castles, and this place is basically the king of castles. We lucked out with the weather, just a bit breezy but no rain. The guide was suuuper passionate, told us all sorts of weird stories about monks and tides. Only bummer: it was a bit crowded at the top, but totally worth squeezing past people for that view. Oh, and pro tip: bring your own snacks. The food places are $$$ and lines are long. Wish we'd known that before!
Went with my parents and it was honestly EPIC! The abbey is like something out of a movie. We took the shuttle from the parking lot (btw, it's a bit of a walk from the lot itself, wear comfy shoes). The little alleys are soooo cute, and we got lost but in a good way. Crowds were a lot in the afternoon, but before noon it was kinda chill. Staff at the entrance were friendly and let us know where to get the best pics. Def bring a windbreaker, it gets wild up top.
INCREDBILE views! We got there just after sunrise and it was soooo quiet. The abbey tour was fascinating, guide was super knowledgeable. Only downside: prices in the shops are a bit wild.
Wowww. The place is just stunning. Got there before 9am and basically had the streets to ourselves. The abbey is a must, and the gardens are lovely. Wish I'd stayed overnight!
We stayed overnight and got to see the Mont at sunrise—honestly magical. The town is so quiet in the early hours. If you can, spend the night!
We visited for our anniversary and it was suuuper romantic at sunset. The little streets lit up, and hardly anyone around late. The seafood at the restaurant near the entrance was fresh (bit pricey, but YOLO). Would come back in a heartbeat.
Went with my boyfriend and we had a BLAST. He geeked out over the medieval stuff, I loved the tiny streets and views. We brought our own headphones for the audio tour (saves hassle). Perfect day out.
Went with friends and we had a blast. Took a ton of goofy pics and tried the local omelet thing (tbh kind of weird but fun to try). Was a bit hot climbing all those stairs but you get used to it. Views are CRAZY good.
Went for my birthday and it was magical. Started raining halfway but honestly made it more charming. The views from the top are insane. Staff were super sweet.
Super busy, but worth squeezing through the crowds. The ramparts have the BEST views. Waited about 15 mins for the shuttle, not bad. Staff were helpful with directions.
Honestly? Place is GORGEOUS but was way more packed than I thought it would be. We spent half the time dodging selfie sticks. Views are worth it, but my teens got bored after an hour. Guide tried hard but microphone kept cutting out. Not sure I'd do it again unless off-season.
Mont Saint-Michel is even better in real life than in pics. The abbey at sunset is magical, everything glows. Stayed overnight in one of the little inns and had the place almost to ourselves in the morning. Breakfast with a view of the bay—can't beat that.
Woke up at 5am to beat the crowds—totally worth it. The sunrise over the bay is magical. Guide was friendly and gave us lots of tips.
